Fr David Howell

I am a priest of the Archdiocese of Southwark, ordained at our cathedral on 16th July 2016. After studying at the London Oratory School, and then Classics at Oxford, I trained for the priesthood at the Venerable English College in Rome. After two years in Brixton Hill, nearly three in Lewisham and six months at our cathedral I returned to Rome for a second licence degree, in canon law (the first was in the patristics). I am currently assistant priest at St Bede’s and work at our diocesan tribunal. In my free time I enjoy singing in a choir, playing football and meeting friends and family.
